Reasons for Moving
An original multi-media, dance-theater piece about the experiences of first and second generation immigrants. Performers are Kalala Kiwanuka-Woernle, whose mother fled Uganda as a child and later came to the United States on a student visa; Mai Moua Thao, born in a refugee camp in Thailand; and Skye Reddy, whose family was displaced in the colonial Partition of India.
